Alex Funk, Manager, Senior Director of Digital Media Strategy, Covario
The 11 year veteran in online marketing leads a global team of cross functional digital marketers in the areas of search, social media, user experience design and analytics. At Covario he has had the pleasure of working with some of the world leading brands including Panasonic, Nikon, Adobe Systems, Gap, T-Mobile, Sony Electronics, Intel and Guthy-Renker among others. Alex is frequently quoted in media publications and interviewed for industry analyst reports. Prior to working at Covario Alex was a digital marketing consultant at digital-telepathy where he built go-to market plans for Hard Rock Hotels, Mozilla Firefox and Napa Auto Repair as well as a host of early stage startups. A native of New Hampshire, Alex has a degree in Mass Media Communication from the University of San Diego and sits on the Board of Directors of SDX.

Jeff Miller, Account Director, Covario
Jeff Miller joined Covario in 2012, and is currently based out of New York City. He has over 8 years of agency paid media experience, with an emphasis on retail and B2B clients.


Doug Chavez, Global Head of Marketing Research and Content, Kenshoo
Doug has spent his near 20 year career at the intersection of media and technology leading media and brand strategy. Doug leads Global Marketing Research and Content for Kenshoo. Prior to Kenshoo, he served as SVP of emerging media at Universal McCann. Doug was also Director of digital at Del Monte Foods, where he is credited with building a digital consumer engagement platform across Del Monte’s portfolio of 17 brands, such as Del Monte, Contadina, Milk-Bone and 9lives. Doug also lead monetization strategy at Yahoo! for their social and community products, Mail, Messenger, Flickr and Groups. Prior to Yahoo!, Doug lead the McDonald’s digital advertising business for Tribal DDB-Chicago, where he is credited with driving cross media integration and winning the agencies first Cannes Cyber Lion.
