APAC CommitteeDescriptionSEMPO APAC committee originally started as SEMPO Asia committee in 2005 to represent the organization in Asian market. As we grew the membership base and activities in surrounding markets, it was re-named as SEMPO APAC committee in 2009. SEMPO APAC plans and organizes SEMPO activities in APAC region to grow membership and the awareness of the Online & Search Marketing Industry, as well as to provide the support to working groups under SEMPO APAC. Currently the committee has volunteers from China, Japan, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Jakarta, Australia and US. Many of them are highly regarded industry professionals in each market, and are frequent speakers at local industry events. SEMPO APAC's recent activities include:
Through our participate in industry conferences such as SES, SMX, ad:tech and other local events in the region, SEMPO members in APAC region receive additional benefits including a discount for registration fees. The Committee will continue to provide useful information to help foster the growth of the industry via its participation in relevant industry events in all of APAC. This group has sub-groups for SEMPO Japan, SEMPO India, SEMPO Singapore and SEMPO Greater China. SEMPO APAC Facebook Initiatives, News & UpdatesSEMPO conducted a 3 country Asia tour in June 2009.
