Erin Dunkel is an accomplished marketer with more than 20 years of experience in leading strategic marketing and communications programs to drive revenue for companies. At Binary Tree, Ms. Dunkel oversees global marketing efforts to customers and partners, corporate branding, public relations and thought leadership, social media, internal and external communications, events and sales support activities.

Ms. Dunkel’s career in marketing, PR and communications includes both corporate and agency roles. She held increasingly high-level marketing positions at a variety of technology companies including Hewlett-Packard, SAP, SunGard and DecisionOne, as well as companies in diverse industries such as healthcare, interactive marketing services, B2B, hospitality and non-profits. For four years, she was the principal owner of a full-service marketing consulting firm, RPM Communications, specializing in targeted marketing programs for healthcare, technology and B2B companies. She is an author of 2 PR guidebook chapters (one on employee communications and one on multi-touch marketing events), and contributes to an ongoing blog on branding and outcome-based marketing. On both the client and agency side, Ms. Dunkel has been instrumental in increasing brand awareness, improving revenues, and achieving positive ROI through strategic marketing and business development activities.

Ms. Dunkel earned a Master of Science in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University and an undergraduate degree in Spanish from The College of William and Mary. She is currently an active member of the Business Marketing Association, Public Relations Society of America, and a past VP and program chairperson for the American Marketing Association.
