More Information
While in college, Josh supported himself by working as a personal trainer for Bally Total Fitness Corporation, working government contract construction (commercial doorway installation), as well as worked as a valet for a hair salon and Morton's Steak House. He continues to maintain his peak conditioning with the same focus and determination he brings to his professional endeavors. During his period of unemployment from 2007-2008, he rigorously studied the internet, and became obsessed with the driving factors behind front page rankings in Google Search Results. The most meaningful takeaway from Josh's early career took place while he worked every Sunday morning answering the phone for Ken Stern's radio show with Co-Host George Chamberlain. Josh has always worked in sales in some capacity, however while working for Ken Stern, it gave him a new perspective on the limitations businesses had who did not leverage the internet, or some effective form of lead generation. For the very first time, Josh saw the beginning of the sales cycle turned inside out. Instead of calling out of a phone book, teacher directory, or being lucky enough to be given cold & unqualified leads courtesy of the first 2 firms he worked for on a commission only basis - he was fascinated that Ken Stern made the calls of qualified investors come to him. Josh followed Ken's every move closely, was lucky enough to be mentored by Ken, and to this day Ken Stern remains Josh's biggest inspiration behind starting his first business in 2008.

So what came next was a hear of head-scratching. "If only I could get in front of an internet user after they perform a search for something, I'd have great odds of closing the sale." The fundamental premise of Josh's first business was born. In 2009, Josh went from doing free "experimental" work for family friends to selling 20k contracts. He was approached by Travis McElroy of The Old State, LLC & they ended up merging companies due to the synergy between Travis' design ability & Josh's SEO talent. From this point forward, his career took off like a rocket.
