Job Description

Acronym Media provides a full suite of search engine marketing solutions to numerous high-profile clients. Many major brands turn to us for complete management of their SEM and SEO campaigns. We are looking for an experienced Business Development professional to help us grow.

Business Development Director is directly responsible for acquiring new clients and advertisers as part of the New Business Development team. This individual will be an experienced salesperson with a background in Internet Media sales. We are looking for an energetic self-starter who is proactive in driving revenue, increasing client base and selling for Acronym Media, Inc. You must be results-driven and committed to creating new business opportunities in a dynamic marketplace.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Acquire new clients for Acronym Media
Develop ongoing improvements to the process of prospecting, qualifying and closing key accounts.
Work with Client Services/Account Managers to effectively manage accounts, delivering superior customer service
Consistently meet or exceed sales goals, demonstrating focused sales efforts, leadership, understanding of the Acronym Medias business model, and a solid understanding of the Internet advertising environment.

Experience

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

B.A./B.S.
Must have a minimum of 6-10 years internet/online media sales experience.
Proven sales track record - 3 to 5 years Internet Media or Online ad sales experience required: CPA media and SEM/SEO a plus.
Direct response/direct marketing and interactive agency background preferred.
Strong knowledge of advertising sales, search and Internet.
Internet industry contacts a plus.
