FindLaw (www.findlaw.com) is the leading provider of online legal information and solutions for the legal community, professionals and consumers.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
Due to our continued growth, we currently have an open Manager of Search Engine Optimization within FindLaw's Customer Operations organization. This position is responsible for the operational management and successful execution of search engine strategies across client websites. This position will leverage team SEO expertise to create and continually refine fulfillment, diagnostic and remediation processes and consulting services within the team and will provide daily people management at the team level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy:
Anticipate and uncover client needs and work with the Director of SEO to proactively communicate those needs to Product Development, Sales and Account Management and the Operations management team.
Execute search marketing best practices in partnership with the SEO management team, Marketing & Product Development and the SEO Advisory Board.
Collaborate with the Operations management team to create efficiency and consistency of the execution of the search marketing product line.
Identify opportunities to increase search marketing knowledge and create accountability across the organization.
SEO Operations:
Create and refine SEO implementation processes to ensure consistency and quality of execution.
Develop and publish operating metrics to measure the search marketing performance of client websites and SEO team Consultants. Use the results to identify if there are opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with Customer Operations managers and team leads to manage the fulfillment cycle and develop improved business processes to support FindLaw products.
Collaborate with Account Management and Field Sales on matters related to client service, fulfillment and satisfaction.
Communicate, drive and measure the success of SEO best practices.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to gain efficiency, increase output and enhance quality
Identify and implement global expansion opportunities
Career Management of Team:
Provide leadership of three team leads and their direct reports.
Motivate and manage team members to achieve business operating goals.
Train, coach and develop employees on an ongoing basis in order to improve performance.
Assist team members in formulating development plans and goals that motivate the employee, encourage better performance and support overall FindLaw strategy and objectives.
Understand the talent on the team in order to provide career coaching and provide feedback on their development.
Attract key talent as necessary by being part of the external SEO community.
Prepare performance reviews.
Support direct reports in managing the performance of their employees.

Experience

Minimum Qualifications
4-Year College Degree (Business or Marketing preferred)
Experience
5-8 years of Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization, keyword research and analysis.
2-3 years of people management experience
Knowledge
Knowledge in SEO keyword research and analysis
Experience with Omniture site catalyst
Experience in SEM, PPC (Pay-Per-Click), linking and social media
Skills
Excellent presentation and communication skills - written and verbal
Proven experience in employee development
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
3+ years interactive agency experience preferred
Excellent client service skills
Ability to thrive in a fast paced organization
Process improvement/Project Management certification a plus (Lean Six Sigma/PMP certification)
