Our client is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated and experienced Director of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Operations to join their Massachusetts office. The right candidate will be responsible for overseeing the SEO department. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with an uncompromising attention to detail, initiative and innovative problem solving skills. This individual will report directly to the Vice President of SEO.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

Work closely with clients and internal teams in the design of effective SEO programs that meet the client strategic business objectives.
Build and maintain a strong knowledge of SEO solutions and technologies in order to educate and inform clients of new offerings or opportunities.
Lead the development of best practices for on-page and off-page Search Engine Optimization techniques. Implementing these practices within the organization.
Ensure monthly SEO reports are completed and presented in a timely manner.
Work closely with the SEM team and cross train if necessary.
Identify new revenue opportunities with existing and new clients and participate in securing that business.
Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends.
Interview, hire and onboard new employees.
Be the liaison between SEO team and the finance department.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree is required in Marketing or a related field.
7-10 years experience in an online marketing environment, with 3 years of SEO experience working at an agency.
Excellent relationship management skills with an aptitude for mentoring and training. Proficient with MS Office.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
Superior verbal and written communication skills and experience presenting to clients.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
