Job Description

Since launching in Europe in 2006, Efficient Frontier has built up an envious client portfolio. To help grow the company further in 2010 and beyond, we require a seasoned digital media professional to help us on three fronts.

Firstly, retain and grow our existing SEM clients. Our clients look to us for continued growth and development so that they can hit their business goals through SEM. Advertisers do not look to us to simply manage their media budgets - we are an extension of their sales department. We need to deliver revenue and profit continually. This creates an energetic environment where ideas, innovation and smart execution thrive.

Second, the successful candidate will lead the charge on our display business. Our clients are eager to test new ways of buying and managing display. We need a leader who can sell, execute and evangelise our display proposition. The right person will be able to plan strategies with senior clients, but also be comfortable reviewing the implementation of an adserver.

Finally, the successful candidate will be a natural leader and manager who can foster and grow talented individuals, address poor performance and allocate the right resources to each account.

The largest and most sophisticated advertisers and agencies partner with Efficient Frontier to achieve and sustain optimal campaign performance and growth in highly complex and competitive search marketplaces.

Efficient Frontier launched in Europe in 2006 and since then has built an impressive client base of some of the biggest SEM advertisers, across many sectors.

Clients include: Capital One, moneysupermarket.com, The Carphone Warehouse, Marks & Spencer, Redcats Group, Expedia, LateRooms.com, Travelzoo and Vueling.

Experience

Minimum 5 years' experience in digital media
Agency-side exposure with demanding, ROI focussed clients
Experience of presenting and negotiating with senior and board level clients
Strategic understanding of SEM with a hands-on ability to get things done
Practical understanding and capability with performance display
Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret and present data
Excellent verbal/written/oral communication skills
Fluency in English; other European languages desirable
Bachelors degree, preferably in science, maths, engineering, economics or similar
