The Management Director of SEO plays the lead role in building, integrating and growing the SEO offering at Draftfcb, reporting and working hand in hand with our SVP, Group Management Director of Digital. It's extremely important that this person is immersed and is a leader in search, specifically the SEO space-a master of teamwork, and a person who thrives in an evolving role.
This is a person who can ultimately lead a team while at the same time be comfortable working in a matrixed and collaborative environment. Someone who can build on existing disciplines' work by layering in or leading with SEO opportunities. At Draftfcb, we view SEO as a key platform for future agency and client success, and the Management Director will be the catalyst for that success. Someone who is not only proficient in all things SEO, but who knows how to disperse this knowledge throughout the various disciplines at Draftfcb. And while SEO is the focus, this person will see through a 360-degree lens and understand how SEO best fits into the big picture.

The Position:
Lead the development of best practices for on-page and off-page Search Engine Optimization techniques. Implement these practices within the organization and ensure they are followed by our staff
Partner with lead of SEM to create a holistic Search practice
Collaborate closely with Account Management, Creative, Media, Production and Analytics to build a world-class SEO discipline
Identify new revenue opportunities within existing accounts, and participate in winning that business
Partner on organic and new business initiatives across multiple disciplines
Guide clients and internal partners in the design of effective SEO programs that meet the client strategic business objectives
Serve as a lead team member of the brand team for businesses they are directly responsible for, ultimately assuring the quality of the strategic, technical and creative SEO products the team produces
Keep an active finger on the "pulse" of the market, communicating external client and evolving market needs to internal stakeholders
Build and maintain a strong knowledge of SEO solutions and SEO technologies and educate and inform clients of new offerings or opportunities
Develop and lead delivery of professional presentations to prospects and clients
Potential to build team over time and in turn, motivate and inspire direct reports
