Our team of talented Rails programmers are seeking to expand the size of our family. We are seeking systems engineers who possess a working knowledge of RoR and who preferably have at least one production RoR website under their belt.
We are looking for someone with.
A strong software development background ideally working with agile development methodology
Expertise at the command line, with the ability to navigate your way through Linux and MySQL (nginx a plus)
SVN knowledge and ideally a leaning towards Git
The ability to take an idea (story) from concept to finished code
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
Solid references and a stellar portfolio

What you will be doing
Developing new models, application views, controllers, and writing custom Ruby code on the G5 Platform.
Facilitating the design of new features to the G5 Platform.
Improving upon current G5 Platform functionality.
Examples of recent "fun" projects have included: building a merb application to handle large file uploads, migrating most of our image and file assets to an Amazon S3 bucket and distributed via their CDN, a custom RESTful Rails API project using the ActiveResource framework, and a custom ruby rackup application that does XML-RPC calls to a 3rd party API.
