We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Los Angeles, CA office reporting to the VP of QA. Your passion for detail will be put to good use. Major Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Primary tasks include writing test design documents (test plans, test cases and test scripts) performing tests, coordinating testing efforts, maintaining a lab and setting up testing environments, bug tracking, reporting and providing test summary reports.
Secondary tasks include contributing to QA process/tools development to support client projects, contributing to sales process and assessing QA requests to provide QA services/staff
Lead test efforts starting with test planning and estimating, through test execution including day-to-day management and through final summary reporting.
Coordinate test responsibilities with in-house staff, partners and vendors to execute QA requirements.
Research tools and standards and process and provide ongoing QA solutions to support client projects
Improve and revise testing standards, methodologies and documentation

Education/ Experience

BA or BS with 7-10+ years experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control activities.
5+ years experience in developing and implementing test plans.
Solid background in test lifecycle, methodology, design and configuration management techniques.
Must have experience in testing Web Properties such as Landing Pages, Web Sites, Web Applications and Content Managements
Certification in any one of the following areas is preferred: Technical Writing/Editing Computer Information Systems or Computer Science, Quality Assurance related certification, Software Testing Certification.
Knowledge/Technical Skills

Familiarity with requirements analysis for Search/Web design deliverables such as Wireframes, Storyboards, Natural Search requirements (keywords and technical obstacles) and other project requirements
Familiarity with estimating test efforts for a range of projects.
Familiarity with Automated Testing Tools to support capture/playback, performance, compatibility, link validation and search and test design requirements. Example: WinRunner, LoadRunner, Watchfire WebQA, and Caliber RBT.
Familiarity with Project lifecycle for Web or Search Advertising projects
Deep knowledge for one at least one operating system (Unix, Macintosh or Windows) and familiarity with the other two operating systems.
Familiarity with at least one programming language in C, C++, Java.
Familiarity with HTML or XHTML.
Familiarity with a scripting language such as PHP/JavaScript
Familiarity with databases and ability to develop SQL statements
