Tyler’s specialty is to make sure that clients get the most out of their brand, website, and digital experience. As the Director of Search, Tyler spends his time managing search strategy and user experience strategy for clients in a wide variety of industries, including the industrial, restaurant, and retail sectors. With 9 years of advertising experience, Tyler brings vast experience in digital, SEO, and interactive marketing. A Google Analytics and Google Adwords Qualified Expert, Tyler has won multiple Gold and Silver AMBIT awards for search marketing campaigns as well as Best in Show at the 2016 KCDMA AMBIT awards. His high energy, creative approach to search marketing has assisted emfluence clients to award-winning traffic and revenue growth. 

Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising and Promotions, as well as a Masters of Business Administration from Missouri State University. When he’s out of the office, Tyler likes to unwind by playing video games, having a cold beer, and playing with his corgis, Rufio & Brock Lee. He is also a member of the KCDMA, a board member of the KCDowntowners, and serves on the leadership team of SEMPO Cities KC.

He has spoken for the State Bar of Texas, SearchExchange, BlogWorld, PubCon Dallas, PubCon Las Vegas, and both district, national and regional conferences and conventions for the American Advertising Federation. Additionally, he has served on the board of directors for the Dallas Ad League, was President of the East Texas Ad Federation, and was the Internet privacy advisor for the 10th district of the American Advertising and National American Advertising Federations. Steve studies user behavior across multiple devices and need states, his daily focus is on brands in search, (voice, organic, mobile) and social.
