(1:00-2:00) State of Search Marketing

As search engine marketing continues to evolve and change at a rapid pace, we’re constantly pressured to keep up and to show the value of it as a digital marketing discipline. SEO has been declared dead, has been renamed by some, and the long-term value questioned by others. Paid search has become an often overwhelming landscape with new ad networks for remarketing, native, social, and others constantly coming alongside the traditional search engine ad platforms. This session will take a look at the state of where search marketing is now and why it is a relevant investment in your digital marketing mix.

(2:15-3:15) Integration of Search & Digital Marketing

Siloed efforts and teams are becoming a thing of the past. We see a lot of integration in the digital marketing industry as content is often deemed king and ties together many different marketing channels. Search marketers often seek to find their place in the ever changing integrated landscape as SEO and PPC titles seem to be going away in favor of digital marketing titles and there’s a somewhat murky balance between generalists and specialists in demand in the industry. This session will look at areas of integration, culture, and how integration is a good thing that we can all embrace to improve our results.

(3:30-4:30) Search Marketing Tools & Tactics

We all love awesome tools that save us time, help us do heavy lifting, and provide great data insights for our day-to-day tasks. With a dizzying array of new tools coming at us seemingly daily and many likely already in our tool belts, we can start to find a point of overload and inefficiency. Whether you’re suffering from information overload, are overwhelmed by too many tools in your current mix, or are looking for insights and new tools to hear about other’s using, this session will be packed with great tools and ideas to take away from the event.

(4:45-5:45) Advanced Search Strategies & Techniques

Putting tools, tactics, and best practices to use through a process or methodology for search marketing success can be a challenge as there’s not one perfect way to run an SEO or PPC campaign. Come join a panel of seasoned veterans of the industry who will share their tips and tricks for success and open up on what works well for them. From a range of advanced topics to actions that will put you on a path to success, this session will be engaging for the novice and veteran digital marketer alike, as well as those that work with them.
