SEMPO Board of Directors Announces 2010-2011 Officers

Jeffrey Pruitt Re-Elected Chairman and Chris Boggs Elected President

Wakefield, MA, April 29, 2010 – The Board of Directors of the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO) today announced the election of a new slate of officers.

Jeffrey Pruitt, CEO of Tallwave, was re-elected chairman of SEMPO. Chris Boggs, Director, Search Engine Optimization, ROSETTA, was elected president. Dave Fall, SVP Product and Operations, Clickable, Inc., was elected vice president, and Margaret Willette, Search Marketing Manager, Intuit, was elected treasurer. Motoko Hunt, President, Japanese Search Strategist, AJPR, was elected secretary.

"I’m thrilled to be returning as the chairman for this year. We made a great deal of progress towards our goal of extending SEMPO’s activities globally and locally, and I want to thank the outgoing officers for making this happen,” said Pruitt. "I’m looking forward to working with our new board, of which five are mainly based outside the U.S., and with our new president Chris. He brings his vast amount of industry expertise and years of SEMPO experience to the position.”
