At SES New York, SEMPO to Present Findings from the 4th Annual State of Market Survey

New York, NY, March 17, 2008 – The Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO) today announced its participation in Search Engine Strategies (SES) New York, March 17-20, 2008.
Monday, March 17, 5:30-6:30pm: SEMPO will hold a cocktail reception and announce the newly elected officers for its 2008 Board of Directors. Members of the Board will be introduced and present updates on the organization's initiatives and the SEMPO Institute for the coming year. The meeting is open to members and non-members.
Thursday, March 20, 10am: During an SES New York session, SEMPO Board members, Dana Todd, CMO of Newsforce, and Sara Holoubek, Free Agent, will present the top-level findings from SEMPO's State of the Market Survey. Findings from this 4th annual survey include information on budget growth, search engine optimization (SEO) versus advertising allocations, price elasticity, and market-mix tactics. The presenters will also outline recent implications of market contraction versus marketers' opinions and key differences between the 2006 and 2007 data.
