SEMPO on Air: SEMPO Institute Gives Insight into Best SEM Practices on the eMarketing Talk Show

Educational Internet marketing podcast hosts SEMPO Institute Dean Terry Plank September 28th, 4PM PDT

Wakefield, MA, September 25, 2007 - SEMPO Institute's popular online distance learning program will be the subject of a September 28th eMarketing Talk Show podcast featuring SEMPO Institute Dean Terry Plank, www.sempoinstitute.com. Plank will discuss how the non-profit SEMPO Institute online courses differ from commercial educational offerings, how the courses are helping agencies and enterprises increase their search engine marketing skills, and how the course are leading to student success stories during the Institute's first year.

The hour-long show at www.emarketingtalkshow.com, "What to Expect from the SEMPO Institute Search Marketing Training & Career Development Courses," to be broadcast at 4PM PDT, will feature four segments: 1.) The Competitive and Career Advantages of SEMPO Institute, 2.) Fundamentals of Search Marketing Course: Covering SEO & PPC, 3.) Learning Advanced Search Advertising from the SEMPO Institute, and 4.) Learning Advanced SEO (Search Engine Optimization) from the SEMPO Institute.

Course Offerings
SEMPO Institute currently offers three online courses: Fundamentals of Search Marketing, Advanced Search Optimization and Advanced Search Advertising.

Fundamentals of Search Marketing provides a core understanding of organic and paid search and includes lessons in keyword fundamentals, search engines, pay-per-click campaigns, tracking and reporting, linking and directories. Cost is $499; $399 for SEMPO members.

Advanced Search Engine Optimization is a multi-lesson course, comparable in curriculum scope to a college semester unit, designed to teach the 'how to' of Search Engine Optimization. Cost is $1,750; $1,400 for SEMPO members.

SEMPO Institute's Advanced Search Advertising is a 13-lesson course that teaches advanced tactics and theories in search advertising and auctioned media. Cost is $1,750; $1,400 for SEMPO members. SEMPO is working with Google to award graduates of the Advanced Search Advertising course a voucher covering the cost of the Google Advertising Professionals (GAP) program certification test, a $50 value. Google and SEMPO are also working together to incorporate GAP practice questions into SEMPO's curriculum.

All courses offer student and military discounts as well.
