Are you interested in being more active with SEMPO and its initiatives? SEMPO's membership committees and special interest groups (SIGs) are a great place to start.

Only members can participate in SEMPO's committees and special interest groups. Being active in a SEMPO group provides a unique opportunity to share ideas, network with colleagues from throughout the world, utilize skills and expertise, and work toward advancing SEMPO’s strategic initiatives.

Members must agree to attendance and participation requirements set forth by the group and must be approved for membership by the chair(s).

Special Interest Groups

SEMPO Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are formed as learning communities to leverage members’ knowledge and interest in a particular issue. SIGs will address a specific industry or technological challenge and serve as a resource for members and SEMPO leadership. In some cases, the deliverable will be a white paper, research initiative, or guidance document that will be shared with members and industry leaders.

The SIG will remain in existence until its deliverable is achieved. At such time, the SIG will dissolve, unless other related challenges or issues are identified that warrant further activity.

Any SEMPO member may propose a SIG. All SIG topics must be approved by the Board of Directors prior to being opened up for membership. For more information, contact Clare Madden.
