SEMPO Launches "SEMPO Cities" Initiative to Deliver Increased Value to Members
SEMPO Cities initiative replaces SEMPO Local Groups starting in April 2015. SEMPO Cities is formed to build awareness and education around search at the local level through learning and networking events. Local networking is an excellent way to learn more about the industry and its latest developments, and to have a sense of community with other professionals in your area. One SEMPO Cities Leader will be appointed each year for each local area. Submit a self-nomination to be the SEMPO Cities Leader for your area - deadline May 8, 2015.
Duties for the SEMPO Cities Leader role include the following:
Any member can also contribute their time to become a SEMPO Cities Organizer. Organizers act as local committee members to assist Leaders with the planning and logistics. Local calls for Organizers will begin after Leaders are announced.
SEMPO Cities Month - October 2015
Each year SEMPO will highlight the SEMPO Cities initiative in October with combined events planning across all local areas of representation. Stay tuned for more information on the events planned for 2015.
